The venue
A room designed for lingering without watching the clock
Here, nobody checks the time. We wanted a place where you put your elbows on the table and reach for more bread without feeling rushed to leave.
— THE SPACE
How we thought through every corner of the room
We weren't trying to make it look good for photos. We were trying to make it feel right for you. The tables are spaced out because we like to hear the conversation across from us, not be overwhelmed by it. The chairs have high backs because a meal that lasts deserves comfort. Every detail was chosen so you forget you're in a restaurant.
Forty covers is not many. That's intentional. A room that's too large changes everything — the noise, the service, the attention. Here, we know where you sit. We know what you order. And when you come back, you find your place — not necessarily the same chair, but the same feeling of being expected.
— OUR CHOICES
What we chose to keep small
40 covers, not one more
We set the limit at 40 to maintain the standard we want. Below that, we control everything. Above it, we lose something.
The room is us
No outsourced service, no quick turnaround. The front-of-house team is the same as the kitchen team — we know each other, and it shows on the plate.
You take your time
No table turned twice in an evening. When you book, the table is yours for the whole night — full stop.
— Our story
An adventure that endures
1965
The beginning of the adventure
This is where it all started: a passion, a table and the desire to delight you just like at home.
Where we are today
We carry on with the same spirit as day one: welcoming you warmly and making sure you have a wonderful time.
